Full-time, salaried FOH leadership role working closely with Management and Ownership to ensure smooth daily operations, with a focus on guest experience, team leadership, and operational excellence. The Speckled Trout Restaurant and Bottle Shop is located in downtown Blowing Rock, NC.
COMPENSATION - Salaried position based on experience

SCHEDULE
Full-time, overtime-exempt.
JOB OVERVIEW
Lead daily pre-shift meetings and hold staff accountable to Speckled Trout standards.
Deliver authentic hospitality, manage guest seating and reservations, and resolve guest complaints in a warm and timely manner. Assist in hiring, training, and mentoring FOH staff. Assist in maintaining inventory and PAR levels. Review daily sales reports and support cost control methods. Uphold Speckled Trout SOPs and cash management protocols. High five kitchen staff and maintain a positive, can-do attitude. REQUIREMENTS
3 years of restaurant management experience, bachelor's degree, strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Frequent computer use, standing/walking for long periods, lifting up to 60 lbs, moderate-to-loud noise typical of a restaurant, nonslip shoes required.

Full-time or part-time, hourly + tips FOH position delivering hospitality and food/beverage service that reflects The Speckled Trout's values, vision and mission. The Speckled Trout Restaurant and Bottle Shop is located in downtown Blowing Rock, NC.
COMPENSATION
$2.50 Hourly + tips. Growth path to Lead Server or Bartender is available and is based on performance, longevity and other factors.

SCHEDULE
Full-time or part-time. Reports to General Manager (GM) or Assistant Manager (AM).
EVALUATION
Quarterly staff review General Manager (GM) or Assistant Manager (AM). Annual performance review with GM. Routine feedback from AM, GM and Executive Chef.
JOB OVERVIEW
Warmly greet, seat, and pace guests with authentic hospitality. Communicate effectively and efficiently with guests. Take accurate food and beverage orders; knowledgeable on the menu and daily features to confidently suggest and upsell. Create and maintain a welcoming and warm environment for all our guests, always. Deliver food and drinks promptly, check on tables, anticipate and accommodate guest’s needs and manage timely check-out process. Maintain state health code cleanliness standards and complete assigned opening, side and closing work. Assist MODs, hosts, and bartenders as needed to keep service flowing smoothly. High five kitchen staff and maintain a positive, can-do attitude. REQUIREMENTS
Prior serving experience preferred; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
